The same day that my husband's mom passed away suddenly we discovered our lower level wet and smelly from a sump pump malfunction. The leak ruined our newly installed white carpet, new paint and bathroom, along with all the contents stored downstairs for the reno.

As with all great timing - we were just starting to get the rooms ready for our soon arriving twin girls. Very pregnant and not having any time or patience for dealing with this matter, our silver lining came in working with Complete Restoration. From the moment they contacted us, it's been a pleasure working with Kim and her team. I have worked with many companies and I cannot say I was looking forward to the process of getting everything removed and redone...but if there is one company that can make a bad situation better (in fact...good!) it's Complete Restoration.

Their team is professional, on time, and above all, responsive to all our needs. They got the whole job done in a week (I can imagine with other contractors it could have easily turned into a month nightmare!) Kim and her team went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything and the completed work exceeded all expectations. Looking back, the timing and the situation could really not have been worse.

Basement Area

On August 19th 2005 following a massive downpour our basement area was severely flooded with sewer backup.  I am writing this to place on record not only our satisfaction with all the work done but as a letter or recommendation.

The team of Complete Restoration responded immediately to our plight and rapidly completed a cleanup in a very professional manner.  They gave us direction re contacting our insurance company and made sure that we were safe and were not, in any way contaminated by the sewer water and the contents of the basement that were damaged by the flood water.

Mr. Gonneau gave us a very realistic and valid estimate for the restoration, even though the insurance company had requested only one quotation from another firm.  Mr. Gonneau’s quotation assisted in the rapid approval from the insurance company to start the restoration process.

Once the work was started, the workers sent by Complete Restoration did the work in a very professional manner.  The workmen who came were trustworthy and very professional and respectful in how they worked at all times.  We appreciated that we were continually kept informed as to when workers would arrive and the work was done consistently and expeditiously as possible and was completed sooner than had been estimated.

The quality of the work done goes beyond praise.  Our basement was not just restored but the area was improved by the work done.  Old wiring, which we were unaware as faulty was replaced to meet standards; suggestions were made that always provded to be advantageous and any additional work, was done only following our approval and with minimal cost to us.  We really appreciated being kept informed right through the work of everything that was done.  I cannot thank them enough for what they did on our behalf.

In all, I highly recommend Complete Restoration and Mr. and Mrs. Gonneau for any work they undertake to do.
